No HostIdea monitoring window is open for these hosts yet. Uptime and response are published third-party measurements, one per host by a fixed rule (longest stated independent window, and its response figure or the most recent one); methods differ, so read them as a guide. Each review lists every source with its method.

A small business site needs four things from a host that a hobby blog does not: email at your own domain, a domain that does not become a surprise renewal bill, backups someone else runs, and a way to reach a person when something breaks. This list ranks the nine hosts on those four, read from their plan pages and terms on 13 October 2026.

Phone support splits the list: Hosting.com, HostPapa, FastComet, InMotion (from Power), Bluehost (from Business), and ScalaHosting have a number; Flashcloud, Hostinger and SiteGround do not. Email splits it again: Flashcloud and SiteGround include unlimited mailboxes, FastComet and InMotion include email, Hostinger and HostPapa limit it or stop including it after the first year, and Bluehost sells it as a trial.

## Frequently asked questions

- **### Which hosts include business email in the plan?**: Flashcloud and SiteGround include unlimited mailboxes. FastComet and InMotion include email accounts. Hostinger includes two mailboxes per site on Premium, free for the first year only. Bluehost offers Pro Email as a trial. HostPapa and ScalaHosting do not state mailbox counts on their plan cards.

- **### Is a free domain really free?**: Usually for the first year only, after which it renews at the host's standard fee (Hostinger, SiteGround, Hosting.com, Bluehost, HostPapa). Flashcloud renews the domain free for as long as the plan is active, for eligible extensions. HostPapa charges a non-refundable domain fee if you cancel in the first term.

- **### Do I need phone support?**: If you are not technical and the site is how customers find you, a phone line is worth a dollar or two a month. If you are comfortable with chat and tickets, the three hosts without a phone line (Flashcloud, Hostinger, SiteGround) are not worse hosts for it.
